Meinl Stick & Brush Waxed 5A American Hickory Drumsticks (SB701) — Natural Wax Grip Finish, Acorn Wood Tip & Industry-Standard Versatility
Combining the world's most popular drumstick profile with a slip-resistant natural coating, the Meinl Stick & Brush Waxed 5A Drumsticks (SB701) offer drummers dependable grip stability and balanced playability. Crafted in Germany from premium American Hickory, these sticks feature a specialized, lightweight wax coating that reacts with body heat to provide a comfortable, tacky feel without relying on heavy wraps or synthetic sleeves that can cause blisters.
Featuring standard 5A dimensions (16" / 406 mm length and 0.565" / 14.4 mm diameter), the SB701 delivers the ultimate balance of speed, leverage, and durability across virtually every musical genre. Equipped with a classic acorn wood tip, these sticks produce rich, warm cymbal response and punchy drumhead definition from low-volume acoustic sessions to energetic, high-output stage performances.
