Wuhan 10-inch Western Series Linear Smash Splash Cymbal — Hand-Cast B20 Bronze, Precision Cutouts & Ultra-Fast Effect Bite
Engineered for drummers seeking an ultra-fast, trashy effect accent in a compact footprint, the Wuhan 10-inch Western Series Linear Smash Splash Cymbal (WULSMASHSP10) delivers a sharp, white-noise pop with near-instantaneous decay. Handcrafted from premium B20 bronze alloy, this 10-inch splash integrates strategically placed linear slots and circular sound cutouts across its bow to significantly alter air displacement and acoustic vibration.
By removing mass from the playing surface through precision cutouts, the Linear Smash Splash speaks instantly upon impact with a dirty, distorted bite that gets out of the way immediately. It functions brilliantly for fast accent fills in rock, pop, fusion, and worship settings, or stacked with other cymbals to build custom, low-sustain effect combinations.
Key Features
- Precision Cutout Sound Ports: Combination of linear slots and circular cutouts lightens bow mass for an immediate, explosive attack and rapid decay.
- Hand-Cast B20 Bronze Alloy: Crafted using the industry-standard 80% copper and 20% tin formula for rich harmonic complexity, musical warmth, and structural durability.
- Trashy White-Noise Bite: Merges the quick response of a traditional splash with the dark, trashy bite of a mini china cymbal for cutting effect accents.
- Compact 10-Inch Footprint: Fits easily into tight drum setups, mounting overhead or off hi-hat stands without crowding primary cymbals.
- Ideal for Stacking: Compact size and flat decay make it an outstanding candidate for layering on top of or beneath crashes, chinas, or hi-hats.
- Traditional Hand-Hammered Finish: Classic lathing and artisan hand-hammering maintain rich acoustic resonance beneath its modern cutout design.
