Meinl Stick & Brush Waxed 5B American Hickory Drumsticks (SB702) — Natural Wax Grip Finish, Acorn Wood Tip & Heavy-Duty Punch
Engineered for drummers who demand extra leverage, volume, and grip security during high-intensity performances, the Meinl Stick & Brush Waxed 5B Drumsticks (SB702) provide rock-solid control and commanding punch. Crafted in Germany from premium American Hickory, these sticks are treated with a specialized, lightweight natural wax finish that reacts to body heat, offering a comfortable, tacky hold that prevents slippage without relying on heavy wraps or synthetic coatings.
Featuring standard 5B dimensions (16" / 406 mm length and 0.595" / 15.1 mm diameter), the SB702 offers a thicker, heavier feel that maximizes sound projection and durability across high-volume genres. Equipped with a classic acorn wood tip, these sticks deliver rich, dark cymbal articulation and explosive drumhead response for rock, metal, pop, and live stage setups.
